I agree EXP is the most difficult but, I am hoping that they will take off a paid/charged off account back in 2000.EQF just deleted it from my account and my score went up by 40 points...Keep trying. Good luck.

Check the book:

You could call the OCC. They have an 800 number that will tell you that if a bank has the initials N.A. in it's name then it is a national bank. Meaning, of course, that citibank is a member.

I remember hearing on one of the audio sound bytes about a national bank has to be a member(?) of the OCC in order to be a national bank. This was the one where people were talking about the restrictions on Discover suing in OK...

My question is, how does one determine if a so called national bank is part of the OCC? I'm looking in particular for info on Citibank N.A.

Thanks for any and all input.

Being sued currently by them as the original creditor.
