.......The reason I sued him was because he advertised a credit repair book on the internet for $9.95 and I bought it and found out that it had some false and misleading information in it........The lawsuit sounds like more of a waste of time and money than the $9.95 book. I am certain I have wasted more money than that on certain things, but I don't go suing someone every time I feel ripped off. Sometimes it's best just to let it go. The resulting stress you put yourself through is arguably more harmful to you emotionally and physically than the loss of the $9.95.

And it happens almost every time one of my students goes to court. The lawyers want to know how they got the information that enabled them to win or they want to know who helped them prepare the paperwork. It simply isn't any of their damned business so don't tell them anything at all.

You don't have to be nasty about it or give them some flip answer. All you have to do is tell them that you aren't going to discuss that and bid them a good day and walk off. That way less chance of Billie getting caught practicing law with a license too.
